Proposed Rate Structure for 2011
The Municipal Authority of the City of McKeesport will raise the sewage rate to residents of the City of McKeesport from $9.75 per 1,000 gallons of water consumed to $10.55 per 1,000 gallons of water consumed, an increase of $0.80. Additionally, although the monthly minimum charge will remain at $25 for 5/8" residential customers, the monthly minimum charge and associated volume allowance will be changed as follows:

Non-sufficient funds (NSF): $20.00
Posting fee: $10.00 (Automatically charged
when property is posted for shut off.)
Administrative fee: $40.00 (Covers all paperwork
forwarded to MAWC and service man scheduled to perform terminations and
reconnects.)
*All fees and charges listed above may be changed from time to time by action of the Municipal Authority Board of Directors.
